Community InvolvementTo grow and prosper, communities require care. It is the work of many hands ... sharing many talents, many hours, and many gifts. The members of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network - Macon share this commitment to the community in which they live and work, to make it a better place, to make a difference. Northwestern Mutual Financial Network - Macon has been a co-sponsor of the Pops Concert at the Macon Symphony Orchestra for each of the past 20 years.
Most NMFN – Macon Financial Representatives are involved in their churches and children’s schools, contributing time and other resources as able and appropriate. Here are a few examples: Jack Head consistently volunteers his time with the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church. A member there for many years, Jack has served as Chairman of the Administrative Board, Sunday School teacher, member of the Board of Trustees, committee chair, leader in youth program, as well as singing in the choir. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Macon Outreach Ministry located at Mulberry UMC. Valley Rescue Mission works to affect a change in the quality of life for the homeless, the needy and the addicted and to help people reenter society as productive, contributing citizens upon completion of the programs. Ric Tipton, Financial Representative serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. Robert Danner III serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Presbyterian Day School.
